New Methods and Comparison about Flax Bio-degumming Based on the retting method of nature fermentation, the experimental results were reported on the retting process of adding bacteria, pectinase and chemicals in optimized condition respectively. The retting period, flax fibre quality and the practicability of the technique were compared among these methods. The conclusion is that the retting methods of using bacteria and chemicals are applicable in industry
