Study and analysis of poly-3octyl-thiophene-ZnS hybrid solar cell
In the present work we report fabrication of Zinc Sulphide (ZnS)-Poly-3octyl-thiophene hybrid solar cell made using spin coating technique. ZnS nanoparticles of size 2-3 nm as measured by XRD were synthesised by cost effective sol gel method. The cell parameters have been successfully extracted using Lambert–W technique and effect of capacitance on the solar cell parameters has been analysed. The system proposed above is comparatively more stable than Poly-3hexyl-thiophene (P3HT)-ZnS hybrid structure proposed by Bredol et al. and it has higher fill factor (FF) and better efficiency (PCE) of 0.51% and 0.5%, respectively, than the P3HT-ZnS hybrid structure having FF of 0.25 and PCE as 0.2%.
