Carrying out the Paris Agreement: Role of research communities in supporting scientific climate policy
After COP21, it is a matter of urgency to build capacity for low-carbon development via relationships between developed and developing countries. The new model supporting developing countries' self-reliance and “leapfrog” development should be put forward with cooperation between the developed and developing countries. In this regard, Japan has moved forward with this form of support towards Asia, and as a result, Asia's own climate response capacity has gradually risen.
