A Brief Account of the Building of Leixoes Harbor

The outlines in plan from the shore are concave to seaward, as for as low-water level, in order to insure the best protection to the stoneyards and service roads, as well as to enlarge the area. Beyond this their advancement into the sea is in right and parallel lines, whose approximate distance is 1100 m., and whose bearing is S. 73° 30′ W.
