Application of UAVs for Construction Site Safety Management
Today UAVs are widely used in various fields of military, disaster relief, agriculture, and other social fields. Its advantages involve ease of use, good cost efficiency ratio, and no risk of casualties. These mean that the UAVs have a broad development prospects. For the construction project management, UAVs can also make full use of its advantages, such as measurement and calculation, three-dimensional reconstruction, deformation monitoring, and so on. This paper introduces the applications of the UAVs on the field of construction site safety management and gives analysis in a variety of circumstances, combines with the reality and provides explanations with examples. The research aims to provide new ideas and new methods for today’s construction site managers to improve management efficiency and to better guarantee the safety of site personnel, which has a good practical significance.
