Ground-Water Models Solved by Digital Computer
Ground-water data may be stored conveniently on punched cards or magnetic tapes. Ground-water problems may be solved by analyzing the stored data using digital-computer programs that describe finite-difference models of aquifer performance. The methods were used to predict the effect of a proposed reservoir on water levels in the Old Bridge Sand Member of the Raritan Formation of New Jersey.
