Constitutive Model for Compressive Strength and Elastic Modulus for Concrete under Elevated Temperature
Fire resistance is one of the main contemporary structure design requirements. It is important and necessary when a structure is subject to elevated temperature under fire, it maintains its structural load capacity for a period of time and yet keeps its integrity at the same time. Major international codes of practice are moving towards the performance-based fire design in order to achieve better analysis and design of structures under fire. In this study temperature dependent compressive strength and elastic modulus relationship have been proposed for concrete under elevated temperature and fire. The proposed model fits well with the experimental data and compared with other available models. This model will be further implemented into computing software for future research.
