Belt Conveyor Transportation
Belt conveyors have proved extremely valuable in expediting the transportation of bulk materials. Although they have only recently come into widespread use, conveyors have already established their efficiency and economy. This paper illustrates the effectiveness of belt conveyor transportation in several large industries, including construction. A brief discussion of design factors is included. Many examples of successful installations are described, and typical belt speeds and capacities are given.
