Study on Asphalt Treated Permeable Base in Permafrost Regions
Setting drainage system in the pavement could improve the pavement performance and extend service life of the road. According to the weather condition in north China, three kinds of open-graded ATPB were designed and their performances were evaluated using the analytic hierarchy process, and then we established the hierarchy model. The permeability, water stability, mechanical properties, and stability under low temperature of the mixtures were tested. It is concluded that ATPB-25 is a better material for permeable base of the pavement in permafrost regions.
