Concept Drift Based Analysis of Climatic Impact on Design of Green Buildings
A green building is designed to minimize environmental impact. Different factors such as temperature, humidity, wind conditions, and other various site conditions affect the efficiency of a sustainable building throughout the year. Thus, it is essential to determine the effects of various natural climatic parameters while designing a sustainable building. A climate data stream is a real-time, continuous, ordered sequence of tuples containing parameter fields such as precipitation, temperature, radiation, dew point temperature, humidity, and speed of wind recorded at different intervals of time. This data is then used to optimize the factors affecting the energy efficiency of the buildings to make construction resilient to climate vulnerabilities. In the present study, authors have proposed that a concept drift approach is effectively applied to study varying climatic parameters affect on buildings.
