Research on the BIM Capability Maturity Model in China
With the application of building information modeling (BIM) in China’s construction industry is increasingly popular, more and more people gradually pay attention to the BIM in China. Therefore, the paper establishes the model of BIM capability maturity in China which is made of BIM maturity evaluation index system, BIM maturity evaluation index summary statement, and BIM maturity evaluation index system score sheet in order to determine the overall maturity and concrete the direction of BIM. It verifies the feasibility and practicability of the model by the case study of west tower in Guangzhou. The model can succinctly determine the overall scores and concrete weaknesses of BIM projects so as to provide reference for enterprises in the capability of promoting BIM application.
