Processing, Soil Profiling and Pile Capacity Analysis from CPTu Data by ''UniCone''
Application of Cone Penetration Test (CPT) data for geotechnical analysis and design has shown an increase in recent years. A main purpose of the CPT is to identify soil layers boundaries and determine pile capacity from the measured values of cone resistance, sleeve friction, and pore pressure by piezocone (CPTu). A computer program called "UniCone" has been developed for processing results of CPT and CPTu, soil profiling and pile capacity analysis with different methods. Among different worked examples within "UniCone", a few cases has been reviewed for practicing engineers, and comparison of current methods for soil profiling and pile capacity estimation.
