For more than 100 yr, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) has been recognized both nationally and internationally by its successful performance in constructing the United States Navy's shore facilities. This paper provides a sample of the construction accomplishments of NAVFAC in the last 50 yr.
