Infrastructure Decision-Making Based on Structural Identification
The objective of this paper is to discuss some relevant aspects of how experimental data (through the process of structural identification (St-Id)) may be used to make rational decisions regarding infrastructure systems. The discussion presented is part of the recently completed state-of-the-art report on St-Id assembled by the ASCE SEI Structural Identification of Constructed Systems Committee.
