Research on the Project Design Change Management of General Construction Contractors
This article researches the design change management in large-scale projects from the perspective of general construction contractors, and establishes a frame of design change management corresponding system which includes three levels: (1) strategic-level, based on partnering theory; (2) method-level, composed of three aspects: department organization, contract management and information communication; and (3) means-level combined with virtual construction technology and change management software. Furthermore, this paper summarized the problems and gave a series of references in design change management of general construction contractors.
