Design and Simulative Evaluation of Buildings with Ecotect
In the early stage of building design, the simulation software Ecotect are used to analyze and evaluate in architecture design process. The paper mainly includes the modeling, parameter setting of Ecotect, thermal environment analysis and daylighting analysis, then makes corresponding adjustment of the design based on the simulation results. The simulation of Ecotect could help designer understand the energy consumption and provide the scientific foundation in design phase, playing an important role in energy-saving building design.
