The Box Inlet Drop Spillway and Its Outlet
Model experiments were performed to determine the free-flow capacity and the effect of submergence on flow over box inlet drop spillways; the development of a spillway outlet is described. Data are presented for the determination of both the free-flow capacity and the hydraulic proportions of the outlet structure; design data for the effect of submergence are omitted as they are quite voluminous.
