Comprehensive Evaluation of Underground Garage Traffic Design Scheme Based on Data Envelopment Analysis
Underground garages are a necessary facility for supporting commercial areas in large cities. Reasonable traffic design can improve parking efficiency and project attractiveness. Since different traffic design schemes will bring various influences to the garage, it is difficult to select the scheme scientifically and reasonably before construction. In this study, a comprehensive evaluation method of underground garage traffic design scheme is designed. Three steps are used: First, the different needs of drivers and builders, an evaluation index system of underground garage traffic design scheme is established, which includes utilization rate, turnover rate, parking time, delay, number of streamline conflict points, queue length, and area occupied by a single parking space. Next, micro-simulation of underground garage internal traffic is done with VISSIM software, and the quantitative value of evaluation index is obtained. Finally, using data envelopment analysis (DEA), the relative efficiency of multiple schemes with multiple inputs and outputs is analyzed.
