Research on Settlement in Full-Face Excavation Model Test of Shallow Buried Tunnel Based on ADECO-RS
This paper provides a comprehensive introduction to the model test of full-face excavation tunneling method in soft rock based on analysis of controlled deformation in rocks and soils (ADECO-RS) including the similarity criteria of physical and mechanical parameters, preparation of similar materials for soft surrounding rock and supports. Layout of surrounding rock stress and displacement measurement points are introduced. According to the results of the model test, the change law of surrounding rock displacement is analyzed in details. A four-stage-deformation assumption is proposed and function of advanced small pipes in controlling space effect during excavation is also studied. The results can provide a reference for the advance reinforcement of tunnel face.
