After the Second World War, the building and civil engineering industries had a rapid development. With the growth of society, complex structures and new types of buildings are demanded by the community. Although the normal materials are still applied, their features cannot alone satisfy the requirements for structures of the present day. Fortunately, the high performance concrete (HPC) has emerged. Due to the application of HPC, the contemporary types of buildings can be realized.
