Geological Hazard Assessment in the Construction Site of LNG Pipeline Project
The geological environment of the section from Dalian to Yingkou in Dalian LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) project is much more complex than that of others. Various geological hazards developed and caused severe threat to the construction of pipeline projects and safety operation. Closer analysis to the patterns of the geological hazard, development characteristics, forming conditions and influencing factors is given based on the data of geological survey. The geological hazard assessment indexes and their classification criterion are presented through the degree of geological activities in history and the development tendency in the future. Furthermore, comprehensive assessment of geological hazard in construction area is made by using Fuzzy-AHP approach. The result of comprehensive assessment accords with the actual situation, so it provides the basis for pipeline's programming and for prevention and control of geological hazards during the construction process.
