Condition Assessment of City of Los Angeles Concrete Brick Semi-Elliptical Sewer
A section of 1,448 mm (57 inch) semi elliptical sewer with a concrete base and brick arch was removed from the City of Los Angeles North Outfall Sewer. This paper describes the condition of the sewer with results of testing conducted on it. Additional testing was conducted on masonry removed from a special junction structure in the sewer. Future rehabilitation plans for portions of the North Outfall Sewer are presented.
