Three Dimensional Highway Modeling System By Parametric Path Model
In this study, a highway product model was built based on the length data using functional representation of alignments. The Highway Sequence Editor (HSE) was developed as a system to be equipped with the model. It was shown that the model developed in this study was effective and that building systems that could increase design efficiency was possible. It was also shown that the design data built in HSE were described by XML, structured plainly and could be handled as uniform design data. A consistent system could be built by incorporating alignment design in highway space coordinates.
