Experimental Study on Carbon Fiber Polymer Reinforced Bamboos
This paper suggests using the carbon fiber reinforced polymer to reinforce circularly the bamboo. A series of experiment studies were carried out to investigate the compressive strength, bending strength and tensile strength of bamboo reinforced with carbon fiber reinforced polymer. The mechanical performances of bamboos with and without reinforcing were compared and the efficient reinforcing method was suggested.
