Prefabricated Systems: A Suggested Course Outline
The rapid development of the prefabricated systems industry has created a need for college educated professionals. Prefabrication has developed to the point that today it is applied in the design and construction of such complex structures as nuclear power plants, airports, bridges, and many others. This paper contains a broad outline for an educational program that could be applied to many specialized institutions of higher education. Among those institutions, technology today occupies a very important role as it bridges the gap between the technician and the engineer.
