Coupling Analysis Based on Urban Resident Trip Characteristics and Customized Buses’ Operation Status
The purpose of this paper is to improve Jinan’s customized bus operation management and increase the level of urban public transport services. The current demand of Jinan's resident travel is diversification, however it is lacking in the urban public transport service system. The contradiction between the two is very prominent. At the same time, the city land utilization layout and traffic situation are becoming more complex in Jinan. To address this situation, we did a coupling survey and analysis of urban resident travel characteristics and customized the buses’ operation status for many aspects such as passengers, ordinary residents, and the bus company by using questionnaire survey and discussion exchange research in the paper. Thus, some feasible suggestions about customized bus operation optimization and its future development planning have been put forward which will be helpful to promote the building of a three-dimensional comprehensive public transport service system in Jinan.
