An Interactive Geoconstruction Technology Selection System for Liquefaction Mitigation
The proper selection of geoconstruction technologies under given site- and project-specific conditions is an important first step to ensure an adequate, sufficient and cost-efficient mitigation treatment plan. The objective of this study is to develop an interactive, readily accessible selection system for geoconstruction technologies for liquefaction mitigation. The interactive selection system generates a list of unranked geoconstruction technology candidates based on a user's input addressing several critical site and project-specific characteristics influencing technology selection for liquefaction mitigation. The influence of various critical factors on technology suitability is discussed. The value of this system is to provide a screening tool and resources on liquefaction mitigation using a variety of geoconstruction technologies.
