Diagnostic and Crisis Management Simulations for Construction Engineering Education
This paper describes an ongoing research effort focused on developing a framework to support Diagnostic and Crisis Management simulations in construction engineering and management through virtual environments. Virtual environments will provide construction managers and other decision-makers the opportunity of experiencing risky events without endangering the success of real projects. The objective of this paper is to introduce Diagnostic and Crisis Management simulations as effective tools in developing the decision-making skills of construction engineering and management students and practitioners.
