Research on Production Efficiency of Construction Industry Based on Cobb-Douglas Production Function
The construction industry is the pillar industry of China's national economy. The development of China’s regional construction industry shows great differences. The long-term existence and excessive expansion of this difference will not only affect the overall efficiency of the development of the construction industry, but also the effectiveness of resources. Based on the Cobb-Douglas production function, this paper analyzes the input and output of China’s construction industry in 2005–2017, and explores the regional differences in the production efficiency of China’s construction industry and the impact mechanism, thus summarizing the distribution of China’s construction industry. The distribution characteristics and existing problems of the construction industry are targeted and put forward relevant suggestions to provide reference for the healthy development of the construction industry.
