1962 ASCE Research Conference
The 1962 ASCE Research Conference held at Skokie, Ill., was the third of a series of conferences concerning research in civil engineering held under the sponsorship of the ASCE Committee on Research. The objectives of the conference were to develop plans and to propose implementation of these plans to accomplish the following: (1) Upgrade civil engineering research, (2) increase the involvement of ASCE in research; and (3) obtain greatly increased support for civil engineering research.
