The Vibro-Jetting Driving Method
The driving procedure using vibratory hammer in combination with specific water jetting, preparing the soil at the piles tip for easy penetration became the standard installation in cases where environmental regulations and difficult soil conditions did eliminate the usual methods. The vibro-jetting procedure requires well equipped and trained driving crews to meet the restrictions in sensitive areas, concerning limited ground vibration, low noise levels and short construction time. The paper presents the equipment needed, operation areas and calculation of the cost. It answers questions regarding the change and influence of the soil conditions.
