Research Progress and Enlightenment on Urban Space Mismatch
At present, the problems of imbalance between occupation and housing, traffic congestion, and uneven distribution of public services in large and medium-sized cities in China are closely related to urban spatial mismatch. Spatial mismatch has become an interdisciplinary research field of urban economics, sociology, economic geography, and other disciplines. The study of urban space mismatch has expanded from the traditional relationship between work and housing to the supply of public services, and even to the protection of urban resources and government governance. By sorting out the literature on “spatial mismatch” at home and abroad in the past 10 years, the development status of this research field was expounded, and the research contents and methods were summarized. Finally, the research trend in the future was proposed in terms of the research scope, research methods, and research objects.
