Ensuring the safety of structure is especially important because of the complex environment in service and direction to large-scale. Two types of environment are taken into account, mountain and offshore, and height of structures is respectively 50.0 m and 88.5 m. Bearing behaviors of wind turbine towers in different kinds of load combination are discussed according to Japanese standard in 2010. Then, influence of height, quality and stiffness on displacement and stress are analyzed. Also, the dynamic responses of structures in different types and levels of earthquake are studied. It shows that the revised edition of Japanese standard in 2010 is needed to assess the bearing capacity comparing with edition in 2007. The dynamic response of structure is affected by height. When the height increases 177%, the maximum displacement in the top of the tower would increase 231% in 8-degree rare earthquake. Other factors are quality and stiffness and so on. Far-field seismic waves have the largest impact on structures which are high-rise and great flexibility.
