The Harahan Bridge, a double-track railroad bridge built in 1916, spans the Mississippi River between Memphis, Tennessee, and West Memphis, Arkansas. A century later, one of the former wagonways on the bridge has been converted into one of the longest active bicycle and pedestrian walkways in the United States, now known as the Big River Crossing. It was the key piece of the Main Street to Main Street Multi-Modal Connector Project, a 10 mi multimodal corridor between these two cities.
