Performance Characteristics of a Rapidly Installed Floating Breakwater
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center successfully field-tested a new floating breakwater offshore Cape Canaveral, FL in May 1999. This paper describes this new hybrid construction concept, analytical and numerical models of the transmission coefficient, and results from the measured performance.
