Security Analysis for Buried Pipeline under Unsupported State
Because of inhomogeneous settlement of ground and rainfall erosion, buried pipeline will be exposed and unsupported during its normal used stage. According to this unsupported state, oil pipeline which is buried under earth is built as space shell model of finite element to analyze its stresses and deformation. Security criteria of strength and stiffness under normal used state are presented. Based on security criteria, limited spans for pipe's security use are determined when one, two and many sites are unsupported. Meanwhile supported plans are presented to ensure pipeline security under normal used state.
