Architecture and Landscape Design of Traditional Dwelling Houses in the Historic Cities of Uzbekistan
Traditional means of artistic expression cannot fully display the character and beauties of modern life. But the study of people`s aesthetic standards opens great opportunities for mastering of the artistic heritage and the search for a new style, reflecting modern requirements for housing. The paper presents architectural compositions of courtyard ensembles of a traditional dwelling house in Uzbekistan. The types of interiors of traditional dwelling houses of such historic towns as: Bukhara, Khiva, Samarkand Shahrisabz, Tashkent are considered. It is supplemented by colorful photos made by the author during researches.
