Pastatų konversijos modeliavimas taikant MCDM ir BIM technologijas ; Building conversion modelling using MCDM and BIM techniques
This master thesis evaluates tools for making effective decisions regarding management and use of abandoned buildings. The paper analyzes the 5D BIM model throughout the life cycle of the building. The foreign good practice is analyzed, where the modern digital technology is used for reconstruction of old buildings. Application possibilities of building information model are examined throughout the lifespan of a building. The paper consists of introduction, 3 chapters, conclusions and appendixes. Introduction presents the analyzed topic, its importance, describes the research object, aim and objectives of the paper. The first chapter examines the concept, goals, and problems of conversion of abandoned industrial buildings and areas, as well as the benefit of successful conversion to urban development. The model for conversion of abandoned buildings is formed, based on MCDM and BIM technologies. The second chapter distinguishes the main types of conversion and their characteristic features. Environmental factors influencing conversion are described and the set of indicators to evaluate conversion is developed. Different types of conversion projects are assessed applying the multi-criteria method WASPAS-G. The third chapter presents two BIM models - before and after conversion. Both models are used to evaluate the amount of material used for the conversions, to identify the reusable sources, and to assess the level of CO2 emissions. The thesis is summarized with conclusions and recommendations. Volume of the thesis - 74 p. with annexes. The paper includes 17 pictures, 12 tables, 53 bibliographical sources, 5 annexes.
