Psychosoziale Aspekte bei Müttern von Kindern mit Lippen- Kiefer- Gaumenspalten : eine Pilotstudie
Die Geburt eines Kindes mit einer Lippen-Kiefer-Gaumenspalte (LKGS), kann die Eltern-Kind-Beziehung nachhaltig beeinflussen. In einer retrospektiven Pilot-Studie (01/2014 - 12/2016) wurden betroffene Mütter mittels Fragebogens zu verschiedenen Zeitpunkten des ersten Lebensjahrs ihres Kindes befragt. Die Fragen erfassten den sozialen Hintergrund der Mütter die von der Mutter subjektiv wahrgenommenen Reaktionen auf das Kind aus dem näheren sozialen Umfeld zum prä- und postoperativen Zeitpunkt der Lippenrekonstruktion. Wir konnten einen hohen Grad an elterlichem Stress sowie physische und emotionale Belastung der Mütter bei Diagnosestellung feststellen. Zum Zeitpunkt der Geburt beeinflusste die LKGS die Attraktivität des Kindes in den Augen der Eltern nicht negativ und nach chirurgischer Rekonstruktion wurden die Kinder nicht als attraktiver wahrgenommen. Die Studie zeigt, wie wichtig eine kompetente medizinische Aufklärung und Betreuung zum Zeitpunkt der Diagnose ist. ; The subjective perception of the attractiveness of a new-born with CL/P and the maternal reactions in the early stages of childhood are closely related. The facial appearance may awake feelings, emotions and reactions in the family and others. A clear analysis of the reaction of the mother and the social environment is important to be able to support affected families. In a pilot-study mothers were asked to complete a questionnaire focused on their sociological situation and emotional experiences with their child. The surveys were administrated from 01/2014 – 12/2016. As a conclusion we found there is a lack of studies about reactions of the family and social environment to a child with CL/P. Negative statements concerning her child will influence the further thinking and acting of the mother for a long time. Avoiding these negative comments should be an important goal in educating the society about rare diseases and visible malformations.
