The SETIS magazine aims at delivering timely information and analysis on the state of play of energy technologies, related research and innovation efforts in support of the implementation of the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan. This issue's editorial and interviews: The editorial for the Materials for Energy issue is provided by EMIRI Managing Director Fabrice Stassin. This issue also hosts interviews by: •Michel Cauwe – UMICORE Senor Vice-President for Thin Film Products •Nikolaos Arvanitidis – Chair of the Mineral Resources Expert Group at EuroGeoSurveys(EGS) As well as guest articles by: •Jamie Speirs – Imperial College Centre for Energy Policy and Technology (ICEPT) •Doris Schüler – Öko-Institut e.V.
