PERI FORMWORK SOLUTIONS : CONSTRUCTION EXERCISE 2016/2017
Formwork solutions for a construction project are one of the most important and vital parts of the overall completion of any construction project. To choose the most cost efficient and least time-consuming solution requires plenty of work. Thus, an appropriate project documentation should be prepared. This thesis includes a range of documents that all together represent a completed project. Project documentation will consist of several documents that should be done such as a project structure plan, a list of bid items and quantities, a comparison table for the available formwork solutions, construction drawings, site personnel and equipment plans, cost calculations table, and the timetable of the project. The background information on the project as well as all the necessary documentation is given by PERI company. The missing information was found using EUROCODES, professional literature, and manufacturer’s catalogues and guidelines. The resulting project documentation covers all the requirements and meets the needs of the given construction project. It provides the client with the solid and reasonable formwork solution to successfully complete the project.
