OR G/W31 .2J22x ; 59 ; Cover title.; "December 2001."; Includes colored ill. and maps.; Permission to digitize obtained July 1, 2002. ; "The Jackson Creek Watershed Action Plan has been prepared for and under the direction of the Jackson Creek Stakeholder Advisory Committee. The Action Plan is based on current information contained in the Jackson Creek Watershed Assessment, (March 2001). This information has been used to direct the action planning process. Watershedwide issues and concerns, key findings of assessment elements, and identified data gaps will focus activities on restoration, enhancement, and monitoring. The Jackson Creek Watershed Assessment assessed impacts of past watershed condition, channel habitat typing, hydrology and water use, plant communities and upland vegetation, wetlands and riparian assessments, sediment sources, channel modification assessment, water quality, fish and fish habitat. Issues and concerns identified by communities include: flood control, water quality and stream flow, irrigation and storm water drainage, riparian ordinances, exotic vegetation, and ground water contamination. On-the-ground actions will address the above issues and concerns by identifying and prioritizing projects using a non-biased process. The Action Plan can be accessed on the Internet at www.rvcog.org" P. [2].
