Geotope und Geosites in Südbrandenburg
Geotope sind erdgeschichtliche Bildungen der unbelebten Natur, die Erkenntnisse über die Entwicklung der Erde oder des Lebens vermitteln. Geosites oder geologische Objekte sind erdgeschichtliche Bildungen der unbelebten Natur die noch nicht von den Behörden als anerkanntes und/oder geschütztes Objekt erfasst wurden. Die meisten Bundesländer der BRD haben zwar Geotoplisten, aber bis jetzt keine dynamische Geotopwebkarte. So auch das Land Brandenburg. Für Südbrandenburg wird eine Webkarte (Internetgeotopkarte) aufgebaut, die möglicherweise als Beispiel für andere Gebiete dienen kann. Siehe dazu www.kaartopmaat.eu oder www.kartenaufwunsch.de. Die Geotope werden als Web Mapping Services (WMS) und als Web Feature Services (WFS) angeboten und in der Geotopwebkarte jeweils als Punkt-, Linien- oder Flächensymbol dargestellt. Durch das Benutzen der Wahloperation ‚GetFeatureInfo’ des WMS ist es möglich zusätzliche Daten und Hyperlinks in tabellarischer Form zu bekommen. Die Hyperlinks führen zu verknüpften HTML-Seiten mit weitere Informationen (Texte, Abbildungen, Hyperlinks, benutzte Literatur, usw.). Diese Aufbau und Funktionen machen diese Geotopwebkarte zu einer der meist kompletten Geotopwebkarten im deutschsprachigen Raum und wahrscheinlich auch weit darüber hinaus. ; Geotopes are recognized and/or protected geological forms at the earth surface that form part of the abiotic nature that can reveal information about the development of biotic and abiotic nature, mostly at the local and/or regional scale. Geotope is the geological component of the abiotic matrix present in an ecotope. Geosites or geological objects are geological formations of abiotic nature that are not yet covered by the authorities as a recognized or protected object. Most federal states of Germany have geotope lists, but until now no dynamic web-based map of geotopes. This is also the case for the state of Brandenburg. A ‘geotope web map’ or ‘geotope internet map’ (‘Internetgeotopkarte’) is built for southern Brandenburg, which may serve as an example for other areas; see for this www.kaartopmaat.eu or www.kartenaufwunsch.de. The geotopes are offered as Web Mapping Services (WMS) and/or Web Feature Services (WFS) and each geotope is represented as a point symbol, a line symbol or a polygon symbol.
