KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS BURUNG DIURNAL DI RUANG TERBUKA HIJAU KOTA PONTIANAK
The diversity of bird species in the Diurnal in the Pontianak City Green Open Space is a strong reason for conducting this research, so that later the data from this research is expected to be a reference or policy step for agencies related to the management of Green Open Space as a habitat for wildlife birds. Provide information about the diversity of bird species in the Diurnal in the Pontianak City Green Open Space. The data from this research can be used by the relevant agencies as a database for monitoring and controlling bird species in the Pontianak City Green Open Space. This research was conducted by survey method or field observation technique. The data collection used is by direct survey to the location. The observation location was determined purposively, consisting of seven location points in the Green Open Space in Pontianak City. The results of field observations in 7 (seven) green open spaces in Pontianak City obtained a diversity index value of =3.314186. (H ̅) belongs to the high category. List of bird species diurnal green open space Pontianak 13 bird species belonging to 10 families (family). Most of the birds found were from the Columbidae and Passeridae families, and the least found were from the Geopeliastria bird species.Keywords: Diversity, Diurnal Bird, Green Open Space.Abstrakkeanekaragaman jenis burung diurnal di Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kota Pontianak menjadi alasan kuat dilakukannya penelitian ini, sehingga nantinya data hasil dari penelitian ini di harapkan menjadi acuan atau langkah kebijakan bagi instansi terkait pengelolaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau sebagai habitat satwa liar burung.
