Izoliuotosios bėgių sandūros stiprumo parametrų tyrimas / ; Research of strength parameters of insulated rail joint.
Continuously welded rail constructions, repair and maintenance features are reviewed in the paper. Insulated rail joint model designed in SolidWorks environment, while all the strength calculations are carried out in ANSYS WorkBench environment package. For analytical calculations of thermal forces and vertical wheel loads all parameters of rail track and rolling stock were chosen the same. Calculating schemes for numerical modelling were chosen according to the results of track circuit failure analysis. Obtained results are analyzed and compared. Following the results of numerical analysis it was found how different environmental and road conditions affect maximum stresses and deformations of insulated rail joint elements at different train speeds.
