In this work we consider the program to update the apartment blocks which is carried out in Mazeikiai district government. Mazeikiai is one of the most active cities in the country that are involved in the program to update the apartment buildings. In the second stage on the housing renovation program Mazeikiai district municipality and its residents were more active. 82 investment plans for the residents of homes that have expressed a desire to participate in the program of housing renewal have been prepared in Mazeikiai. However, at present the number of those wishing to participate in the program is reduced. The city, which has been reconstructed or is being completed the update, the sixth part of the total multi-family housing, renovation wave went to the decrease. Fulfilling the third stage of the program, it is proposed to upgrade only three apartment buildings, due to the reduction of assistance from the European Union funds.
