This Draft Land Management Plan and Environmental Assessment for the Box 0 Ranch fulfills the requirements imposed by the acquisition EA. Also, it has been developed to meet both planning and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements, and therefore serves as a management plan and environmental assessment. This is a ten-year plan commencing in 1998. It must also be noted that this plan must be dynamic and is subject to changes due to new direction in BLM policy, development and testing of new science and techniques, and insufficient funding for implementation . The Box 0 Ranch is located in southwestern Oregon in Jackson County approximately five miles south of Highway 66 (Greensprings Hwy.) on Copco Road. The ranch lies within the Jenny Creek Watershed, and Jenny Creek runs through it" P. 1,2 [9, 10].
