The problem in this research was how the process of disseminating information on regional development in the coastal area of Kendari, the form of media in the dissemination of regional development information in the coastal area of Kendari, and what the content of the message on regional development information in the coastal area of Kendari was. The purpose of this research was to determine the process of disseminating regional development information in the coastal areas of Kendari, to know the form of media in the dissemination of regional development information in the coastal area of Kendari, and to find out what the message content of the regional development information in the coastal area of Kendari was. The informants were determined through purposive sampling in which based on the needs of the researcher. The data collection technique was carried out by means of observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique was used to analyze the data obtained in accordance with the symptoms and objects that occurred in the field and then interpreted them based on the theory used. The results showed that the process of disseminating regional development information in the coastal area of Kendari used simultaneous communication and sequential communication. The content of the message on regional development information in the coastal area of Kendari was the development message which was informative and persuasive.
