Colony House Hotel (II)
Black and white view of the Colony House Hotel, which once stood at the corner of Grace Avenue and Third Street (now Bond Street), fronting on Third Street, in the Village of Great Neck Plaza. Image was taken facing north, highlighting the Grace Avenue side of the building. The Colony House Hotel building was torn down in the 1980's, and replaced with a similarly sized brick façade building, the Bond Parc Condominiums, which houses professional offices and residential units. The sender of this card wrote "KITCHENETT," "BEDROOM," and "ENTER," and corresponding arrows on the card front. The postmark on this card dates it to 1945 or before.
