Column Fire Resistance Test Facility at the Tianjin Fire Research Institute
A test facility to determine the fire resistance of columns was built at the Tianjin Fire Research Institute. This facility was constructed mainly for the purpose of providing testing for the fire resistance of building columns found in China The test results indicate that this facility is reliable and produces comparable results with those at the facility at the National Fire Laboratory of the Institute for Research in Construction, National Research Council of Canada. ; Une installation d'essai permettant de déterminer la résistance au feu de poteaux a été construite au Tianjin Fire Research Institute, essentiellement aux fins de la mise à l'essai de tenue au feu de poteaux de bâtiment d'un type que l'on rencontre couramment en Chine. Les résultats des essais indiquent que cette installation est fiable et produit des résultats comparables à ceux de l'installation du Laboratoire national de l'incendie de l'Institut de recherche en construction du CNRC. ; Peer reviewed: No ; NRC publication: Yes
